Ice Cream for Breakfast is a new, original play, that follows Diego, a New Yorker in his early 30s whose inner life is embodied onstage by two actors: Hugo, his anxious rationalist, and Sid, his impulsive id. As Diego navigates subway commutes, corporate doublespeak, and the churn of dating apps, a promising first date offers hope. But when he is abruptly laid off and then ghosted, his world fractures. Blending psychological realism with theatrical invention, the play explores modern isolation, instability, and the urgency of choosing life before it melts away.
