Seven years after his last performance, Todd Ritch returns to The Green Room 42.
An Evening with Company is a one-night-only 35th birthday celebration inspired by the music of Stephen Sondheim and the beloved musical Company. Blending iconic songs with raw, personal storytelling, Todd takes the stage to reflect on what it means to look around at 35 and realize life hasn't gone exactly as planned.
What began as a show about loss became something else entirely: a celebration of the people who stay. Joined by the friends he found through theatre — the ones who have been by his side both onstage and off, through life's most difficult moments — Todd shares an intimate, funny, and deeply human look at comparison, connection, and the courage to keep going anyway.
Conceived, created, self-produced, and performed by Todd Ritch, An Evening with Company is developed in collaboration with Adrian Azevedo Lopez, with music direction and arrangements by Daniel Gittler. Todd is joined by a live band featuring Daniel Gittler (piano), Justin Goldner (guitar), Ben Harris (woodwinds), Peter Wise (bass), Lindsay Rosenberg (Bass), and David Silliman (drums).
And in the spirit of Bobby's surprise birthday in Company, the guest list is staying under wraps — expect surprise appearances from some very special artists who've been part of Todd's life and career.

Todd Ritch is a New York–based performer making his return to the stage with An Evening with Company. This performance marks exactly seven years since he last stood before an audience—on this very stage at The Green Room 42. His regional credits include Avenue Q (Princeton/Rod), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hero), Ragtime (Younger Brother), and Spring Awakening (Ernst). He spent five years performing off-Broadway and on tour with Vital Theatre Company, where he also served as a teaching artist. In addition, he toured nationally and internationally with PJ Masks Live: Time to Be a Hero. Todd is the recipient of an Innovative Theatre Award for his performance as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, is featured as Romeo on the original cast album of PJ Masks Live: Time to Be a Hero, and previously sold out The Green Room 42 with his solo show The Boy with the SnapBack. He also directed and produced the new musical #LoveStory, which was named a Fringe Fave at the New York International Fringe Festival and later remounted for a sold-out reading at The Green Room 42. By day, Todd works in sales; by night, he returns to his first love: the theatre—and is incredibly grateful for the chance to be back on stage.
