On Sunday, February 18, Cinderella the Musical marked the creators' 40th Off-Broadway production with a sold-out performance at the Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. Michael Sgouros (music) and Brenda Bell (book/lyrics), who have been collaborating since 2008, have written 12 original Off-Broadway musicals together. This latest production of Cinderella marks the shows fourth revival.

Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) is proud to announce a two-week extension for the World Premiere of AN ORDINARY MUSLIM, by NYTW Usual Suspect and 2017-18 Tow Foundation Playwright-in-Residence Hammaad Chaudry (Salaam, Mr. Bush), directed by NYTW Usual Suspect and Obie Award winner Jo Bonney (The Body of An American). Previews for AN ORDINARY MUSLIM began on February 7, 2018 with an opening night set for February 26, 2018 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003), now playing through March 25, 2018.

New York Premiere Of BABETTE'S FEAST Will Begin An Open-Ended Off-Broadway Engagement

Based on the short story by Isak Dinesen (and made famous by the 1987 Academy Award-winning film), Babette's Feast will begin performances Wednesday March 14th at the Theatre at Saint Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) for an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement.  Opening Night is set for Sunday March 25th (5pm).  The performance runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

In February 2018, Daniel Alexander Jones makes his debut in The Public Theater's mainstage season with his new show Black Light, starring Jones's alter ego, legendary singer Jomama Jones. Originally commissioned as part of the Joe's Pub New York Voices series, Black Light is a moving, music-laden work - a revival of sorts - for turbulent times. Created by Jones, the show features all original music by Jomama, Laura Jean Anderson, Bobby Halvorson, Dylan Meek and Josh Quat. The show's music direction is by Samora Abayomi Pinderhughes.
