Repertorio Español showcases the first round of the 2026–2027 New York Community Trust Van Lier Fellowship for Young Latine Directors, featuring contemporary works written in Spanish or by Hispanic American playwrights. This initiative supports emerging directors, particularly those from underrepresented communities, by allowing them to direct two professional productions over two summers. The first set of performances will take place from June to August 2026, highlighting the creativity of the next generation in Spanish-language theater. The fellowship emphasizes inclusivity and artistic growth within the Latino community.
