Repertorio Español will present Plays from the Spanish Golden Age, marking the second round of productions from the 2026-2027 The New York Community Trust Van Lier Fellowship for Young Latine Directors. This fellowship provides emerging directors the chance to showcase their talents through two professional Spanish-language theater productions. Focused on fostering underrepresented voices in the arts, the selected directors will bring classic works from Spain's Siglo de Oro to the stage during the summer of 2027. Performances will be held at Repertorio Español, highlighting the institution's commitment to Spanish-language theater.
