The ReGroup Theatre presents a rare revival on John Howard Lawson's 1927 political farce LOUD SPEAKER, beginning March 9th at The Robert Moss Theater 440 Lafayette St. LOUD SPEAKER runs in rep with Lawson's Group Theatre classic Success Story until March 24th. Nosy reporters, bearded strangers, astral bodies, voluptuous skeletons in the closet, story-
faking gossip columnists - and we haven't even gotten to the politician's crazy family yet! Lawson's farce tells the story of how Harry U. Collin's bid for the Governor of NY comes crashing down when he drunkenly tells the American people to "Go to Hell" in a live radio broadcast... or does it?

Loud Speaker, John Howard Lawson's farce taking aim at the press, politics and the theatre itself, is being directed by Nic Davies and will run in repertoire with Success Story, with actors Matt Giroveanu, Hallie Goodman, Maurya Scanlon, Ave M. Lindon, Tim Gilliss, Daniel Hainsworth, Claudia L. Brown, Shawn Verrier, Goran Ivanovski, John Hutchinson, Jeska Pike, and Wilson Carpenter.

The ReGroup Theatre Company was created in 2010 with the mission to produce "great plays" as defined by the original Group Theatre as plays which are "propaganda for a better life."
