Counting Square Theater Launches New Playwrighting Program
As their commitment to creating new works and fostering new artists continues, Counting Squares Theatre has decided to open their doors to new plays and playwrights. New play submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis, and will be evaluated by their Playwright Development Coordinator and the Counting Squares Team. It is their goal to take the best of the best, workshop the new pieces, and eventually produce them as a part of our regular season.
We ask that anyone interested in submitting a new play, please visit our website at www.countingsquarestheatre.org, where they can learn more about Counting Squares Theatre. We ask that those interested in submitting a new play send us a character list and description, a one-page synopsis of the play, a little information about the playwright, and the play in its entirety. Please submit all plays in PDF to newplays@countingsquarestheatre.org.
