A FEST LESS ORDINARY — SUNDAY, JUNE 7, 2026 | 12 PM – 7 PM
868 Estate Vineyards | Purcellville, VA
Good Music. Great Wine. Incredible Cause.
Grab your sunglasses, your dancing shoes, and your favorite people — A Fest Less Ordinary is back for year three, and we're going bigger than ever. Set on the rolling lawn at 868 Estate Vineyards with Blue Ridge views in every direction, this all-day celebration of American music brings together seven incredible acts, award-winning wine, local food, and one truly extraordinary mission.
THE MUSIC
From noon to 7 PM, enjoy rotating sets spanning bluegrass, Americana, folk, funk, jazz, and brass from some of the best acts in the DC/Mid-Atlantic region:
The Plate Scrapers — Hard-driving bluegrass from a band that's shared the stage with legends like The Seldom Scene and Larry Keel. Equal parts heart and heat.
Justin Trawick and The Common Good — DC's own Americana storytellers, touring together since 2006. They've opened for The Wallflowers, Blues Traveler, and The Avett Brothers, and performed at Wolf Trap and TedxEast NYC.
The Woodshedders — Harpers Ferry's finest, serving up Gypsy jazz, old-time bluegrass, and honky-tonk with rock star energy. If you're not dancing, check your pulse.
Black Masala — A brassy, boundary-smashing DC outfit blending New Orleans second-line, Bhangra, Romany brass, and funk into a sound that defies category and demands movement.
Jane O'Neill — Quietly confident Americana with a soulful voice and vulnerable lyrics that belong on the shelf next to Bonnie Raitt and Brandi Carlile.
Wicked Sycamore — An all-female acoustic trio from the Baltimore-DC corridor weaving folk, Americana, and bluegrass into something sharp, clever, and completely their own.
Loudoun Jazz Ensemble — Loudoun County's own big band, bringing the swing since 1997.
THE EXPERIENCE
This isn't just a concert — it's a full afternoon out in Virginia wine country.
Award-Winning Wine: Sip your way through 868 Estate Vineyards' estate-grown collection, from crisp Chardonnays to bold reds. Winner of the 2020 Virginia Governor's Cup.
Craft Beer: Not a wine person? Lost Rhino has you covered.
Local Food Trucks: Great eats to fuel your afternoon.
Growers' Marketplace: Shop plants, produce, jams, and pickles — all grown and made by our Growers, adults with disabilities who work at A Farm Less Ordinary. This is the heart of the festival.
Artisan Vendors: Browse handmade goods from local makers.
Family and Dog Friendly: Kids 16 and under get in free. Well-behaved pups on leashes are welcome.
THE MISSION
100% of proceeds from A Fest Less Ordinary benefit A Farm Less Ordinary, a Loudoun County nonprofit that provides meaningful employment for adults with intellectual, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. Adults with disabilities face unemployment rates as high as 80%. Our employees — known as Growers — are changing that story. They earn real wages doing real work: harvesting produce, nurturing plants, and crafting products that go straight to the community.
When you buy a ticket, you're not just getting a great day out. You're funding jobs, building community, and growing opportunities.
