Roll the Dice Productions presents: Dalton Trumbo's: Johnny Got His Gun
Based on the anti-war novel by Dalton Trumbo and adapted for the stage by Bradley Rand Smith.
Joe Bonham, a soldier in 1918, is hit with an artillery shell and is left with no arms, no legs and a portion of his face blown off. Unable to move, speak, hear or see, the only thing unaffected is his mind, making him a prisoner inside his own body.
The play explores themes of being trapped within yourself and the devastating consequences of war, not just physically, but mentally.
