The 'Flash Mob,' choreographed by Tamara Kangas-Erickson, featured several members of the ALL SHOOK UP cast and about 200 additional volunteers (from as far north as St. Cloud and as far south as Marshalltown, Iowa) who joined in the fun. Participants ranged in age from 7 to 70! The 'Flash Mob' number features the lead dancer from the Chanhassen production playing a character who busts out of jail and is eluding the law. Dancers are looking high and low for him. At one point in the dance, the group strips off their tops to reveal black and white t-shirts used to form jailhouse uniform stripes and a live beating heart for the 'heartthrob jailbird.' The entire 3.5 minute routine was rehearsed in just two rehearsals last week held at Chanhassen and Chaska High Schools.
