Bonny Anne Bonny at Raabe Theatre - Center for Arts and Performance at Wisconsin Lutheran College

Local professional theater company Theater RED with the Department of Theatre at Wisconsin Lutheran College are pleased to present the world premiere of BONNY ANNE BONNY! Written by Milwaukee playwright Liz Shipe, this high seas adventure features one of the most famous pirates in history. In this fictional tale of her life, Anne Bonny (Alicia Rice) sails the seas chasing adventure, treasure, and notoriety with her partner in piracy, Mary Read (Rae Elizabeth Pare), at her side. The infamous Captain Blackbeard (James Carrington II) and Calico Jack Rackham (Zachary Thomas Woods) join the story with a cast of swashbuckling women at the forefront. BONNY ANNE BONNY brings professional artists together with students and faculty, onstage and off, to promote growth in craft for artists and collaboration in Milwaukee's rich performing arts community.
