The play no one has read — not even the actor performing it. Each night, a different performer walks on stage cold, opens a sealed envelope, and discovers the script live, in front of you. No rehearsal, no director, no two nights the same. Written by an Iranian playwright who was banned from leaving his country, this wild, funny, and quietly devastating 70-minute experience has been performed by everyone from Whoopi Goldberg to David Tennant — and it's never the same show twice. Four performances, four actors, four one-of-a-kind nights. Part of NCP's America at 250 season, exploring what holds a community together when it's pushed apart.
