For two years and one month, Anne Frank and seven others hid in four small rooms concealed behind a bookcase in the building where her father worked. Her diary revealed their ordeal to the world. But what of the people who hid them, got them food, and kept them informed? This play explores the complex challenges faced by these brave individuals on their journey of rebellious morality during the horrors of the Holocaust.

Silver Palm Award Honorees Announced
September 27, 2022 The Silver Palm Awards will be returning to The Addison of Boca Raton on October 17, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., when the recipients of this year's awards will be honored. The Silver Palms Awards were established in 2008, conceived to celebrate the work of theater artists who live in South Florida.

November 16, 2021 Palm Beach Dramaworks, unable to perform onstage for audiences for 21 months due to the pandemic, begins its season of renewal on December 3 (8pm) with the world premiere of Michael McKeever’s The People Downstairs, a commissioned play that tells the story of the courageous souls who hid Anne Frank and seven others during the Holocaust.

October 18, 2021 Palm Beach Dramaworks has announced that single tickets for its long-awaited 2021-2022 go on sale November 1. The start of the season was pushed back from mid-October to December 3 out of an abundance of caution and a commitment to the health and safety of our patrons, artists, and staff. PBD is introducing a number of safety protocols that will be strictly enforced.
