The Boca Raton Theatre Guild's 2012-2013 season will begin with a comedy, and end with a classic. A.R. Gurney's Sylvia, and Kander & Ebb's Chicago will run in September and March at the Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park.

Mosaic is pleased to be just the second theater in the United States to present The Birds by Tony Award nominee Conor McPherson. Kicking off this season will be the Southeastern Premiere of the recent New York sensation, The Diary of a Madman which featured Geoffrey Rush.

Carole J. Bufford made her entrance on the New York cabaret stage in the Metropolitan Room's MetroStar Talent Challenge. Immediately following, she was asked to perform at the 2009 Cabaret Convention at Jazz@Lincoln Center presented by the Mabel Mercer Foundation. In addition, Ms. Bufford has been featured in numerous Broadway By The Year concerts, both at The Town Hall and in California. She has also performed in All Singin', All Dancin' as well as the recent Tribute to Judy Garland and The Art of American Dance at The Town Hall where she shared the stage with Lorna Luft and Susan Stroman in an all-star cast.

Clayton Phillips makes his directorial debut at the Miami Beach Stage Door Theatre, leading a cast of accomplished actors in what promises to be a riveting production. Currently the Production Manager for Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Clayton has also directed local Florida productions of Music Man, Hairspray and Chicago for Lake Worth Playhouse and The Outgoing Tide for Arts Garage in Delray Beach. He is the recipient of the New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Director for his production of John Pielmeier's Slow Dance With A Hot Pick-Up and was Harold Prince's assistant for the Broadway and touring productions of Kiss of the Spider Woman, Candide and Parade.

FUNDarte's Out in the Tropics brings award-winning contemporary LBGTQ artists and arts events to South Florida annually. In its third year, the Festival presents Teatro El Publico's staging of Caligula from Havana, Cuba on June 14-16, 2012, at 8:00 p.m. at the Colony Theater, in Miami Beach. In this production (never before seen in the U.S.), the tyrannical Caligula is given a contemporary face, armed with a 'mask of gayness' and 'the glamour of illustrious uniforms,' inciting audiences to witness other forms of misconduct beyond the sexual.

Mr. Jordan will be bringing his critically-acclaimed new show, "Fruit Fly" to the Waterfront stage on June 8th and 9th at 8 pm. Tickets are $45, and they are going fast. Mr. Jordan is best known for his performance in the stage and film versions of "Sordid Lives," and his Emmy-winning turn as Beverley Leslie, the comic foil to Megan Mullally's Karen Walker on "Will and Grace."

Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions (under the direction of Thomas Schumacher), THE LION KING is the sixth longest running musical in Broadway history and only the second show to produce five productions running 10 or more years.

Craig Smith, Managing Partner of the new Alhambra Theatre & Dining announced this morning that Joyce DeWitt will star in Sam Bobrick's romantic comedy, Remember Me. Miss DeWitt is most widely known to audiences for her starring role as 'Janet Wood' in the ABC Television hit series "Three's Company," but she is no stranger to live theater, working both as actress and director in a stage career which spans over forty years. She recently starred in A Scattered, Smothered and Covered Christmas Musical and the Canadian productions of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner With Friends and Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo.

On June 17, 2011, Conundrum presented its first Sirens & Strings in Hallandale spotlighting 11 acts. Genres provided were pop, folk, soul, R&B, and jazz. Two editions later, cabaret and world music were featured. Comedy and poetry were also implemented exposing local female performances.

A Broadway revival won two 2005 Tony Awards including the Best Revival of a Musical prize.
