Each night in Paris, hundreds of men and women use the anonymity of telephone lines unallocated dating from the German occupation, to talk, love. These people, these survivors of love, desire, dying for love, out of the abyss of loneliness ... In this intimate camera, Fanny Ardant seduced, captivated, moves. With Sonia Wieder-Atherton has developed a dialogue for solo voice and cello from The Ship Night, a film that Marguerite Duras had done in 1978.

Fanny Ardant started his career alongside François Truffaut, who offered him a lead role in The Woman Next Door. Then confined to an auteur cinema, the film reveals the soft pedal to the public and in 1995 she won the Cesar for Best Actress. Having toured with the biggest, Claude Lelouch, Alain Resnais, Francois Ozon ... Fanny Ardant also devotes himself to the theater and surprised everyone by moving to implementation. His first feature film Ashes and blood is presented at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival in a special Tribute to Fanny Ardant.

Interpreter of a wide repertoire reflecting her imagination, project designer, musician sought after by many contemporary composers, Sonia Wieder-Atherton occupies a special place in the musical world today. Recognizing Sonia Wieder-Atherton one of the most powerful musical personalities present, the Academy of Fine Arts in France awarded him the Grand Prix Del Duca of the Academy of Fine Arts in 1999.
