How Do They Know That They Are The Last Humans On Earth? IS based on Cormac McCarthy's novel The Road, a post-apocalyptic tale of a journey taken by a father and his young history across a landscape blasted unnamed cataclysm by Year That Destroyed MOST MOST civilization and life on Earth. Both are Sustained only by the vague hope of Finding Warmth and more "good guys" like them, and Carrying Them with only What is it and What Will Their backs had damaged Into a supermarket cart. The novel WAS Awarded the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction in 2006.
There are now over ten years the world has exploded. Nobody knows what happened. Those who survived remember a huge blinding flash and then nothing. More energy, more vegetation, more food ... The last survivors wander in a world devastated and covered with ash which is a mere shadow of what it was. It is against this backdrop of Apocalypse a father and son wandering in front of them pushing a shopping cart filled with miscellaneous objects. How Do They Know That They Are The Last Humans On Earth? is based on the novel post-apocalyptic The Road by Cormac McCarthy won the Pulitzer Prize in 2007.
Sylvia Camarda, winner of Lëtzebuerger Danzpräis 2011, belongs to the new generation of dancers and choreographers who is to be revealed. Throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work with big names in dance. Thus, after studying at Cannes and London, joined the Ballet dancer C. of B, followed by Cirque du Soleil in Canada before being taken by Jan Fabre for the creation of blood I in 2005 in Avignon. With the bist so wunderbar Amerika, an order made by the NL in 2008, Sylvia Camarda has invested for the first time and with great success at the Theatre National. She returns with an ambitious and courageous.
