The Prince is a queer story of self-discovery that follows a group of Shakespearean characters realising they are trapped inside a play. Written and performed by Abigail Thorn, the cast includes Nicole Maines, Morgana Ignis, Vivian Jenna Wilson in her acting debut, Payam Banifaz, Jon Matteson, Jude B. Lanston, Tarek Ziad, and Laser Webber as The Narrator. First performed in London in 2022, the play won three BroadwayWorld Awards including Best New Play and Best Lead Actor. This reading aims to attract interest for a full-scale revival in either Los Angeles or New York, produced by LaserVision and Five Successes.
