Set sail with WORDTheatre’s The Ocean: Our Liquid Universe.
On March 19, Lily Tomlin kicks off an inspiring fusion of music, myths, stories, songs and oceanographic wonders.
This one-night-only theatrical event is performed by a 14 member all-star cast of Oscar, Emmy, Actor, Tony, and BAFTA nominees and winners. Conductor Anthony Parnther and Grammy Award-winning Composer Starr Parodi lead a 16-piece orchestra, with special guests Glass Animals' Dave Bayley, Amy Keys, Mehro, and Louis Price, former lead singer with both The Temptations and The Drifters.
Passages by such iconic authors as Homer, Jules Verne and Jacques Cousteau are punctuated with songs by such brilliant musicians as Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and The Beatles, along with fascinating maritime history, and sea-riously cool facts!
Join WORDTheatre and Ocean Rising for an unforgettable evening as vast, moving and essential as the sea itself.
Tickets for this original WORDTheatre benefit production range from $30 to $300 (VIP Premium Seat & Afterparty). To save on ticketing fees, purchase your seats on our event page at WORDTheatre.org
