Texas Music Revolution is a documentary following indie radio station KHYI-FM general manager and festival founder Joshua Jones as he mounts the silver-anniversary edition of the eponymous festival. Featuring Kiefer Sutherland and major names in Red Dirt, outlaw country, and Americana, the film drops viewers into the grit and soul of one legendary Texas music gathering. Set against the reemergence of live music after a pandemic, the film is both a love letter to Texas and an intimate portrait of a fiercely independent music scene. The film was directed and shot by Emmy-nominated cinematographer Troy Paff.
