Star-Crossed Rendezvous is a unique dual-site collaboration between the Los Angeles Philharmonic, MOCA, and artist Haegue Yang. This event, centered on Isang Yun's composition, features Yang's installation at MOCA followed by a live performance of Yun's Double Concerto by the LA Phil New Music Group, conducted by Earl Lee and featuring principal artists Ryan Roberts on oboe and Emmanuel Ceysson on harp. The experience aims to create an immersive journey that engages both visual and auditory senses, reflecting on histories of migration and cultural memory.
