Dan Ruth stars in this world premiere solo horror comedy, a semi-autobiographical journey through hauntings, witchcraft and the punk and indie/goth scene of mid-eighties Richmond, Virginia during the Satanic panic. The show is a humorous take on Ruth's Roman Catholic upbringing with a witchy twist, presented as an homage to his mother and former home of Richmond. Southern Goth is written and performed by Dan Ruth and directed by Tanya Moberly. It is presented as part of The Hobgoblin Playhouse's Spookyfest 2026.
