Warhol/Frankenstein 4D! at Hobgoblin Playhouse

The underground comedy reimagines Andy Warhol's wild Factory filmmaking years during the creation of his 3D cinema film Flesh for Frankenstein. The cast includes Andrew Goetten as Andy Warhol, Jordan Mullins as Edie Sedgwick and The Bride, Danny McCarthy as Lou Reed and Baron Frankenstein, Emma Jansen as Valerie Solanas and Bridgid Berlin, and JJ Phillips as Paul Morrissey. Set to 60s songs from the Velvet Underground, David Bowie and Bob Dylan, the production features projections of Warhol's psychedelic films and period newsreels, with a Splatter Zone in the front row for the show's gratuitous nudity and bloodshed.
