Pit of Hope is a new play written and directed by Vince Tula, making its world premiere at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Set in Los Angeles during the summer of 2025, the play follows a pit bull thrown into the LA Animal Shelter system after his family is taken by ICE, with two actors embodying pit bulls to explore themes of hope, survival, and immigration enforcement. The ensemble cast includes K Cody Hunt, Mike Mihm, Ulysses Montoya, Christian Wienker, and Rachel Zapata. The play was developed at Primary Stages ESPA Program and runs approximately 90 minutes.
