JESTER! is a world premiere tragically comedic play written by Sydney Michael Hollingsworth and directed by Zoe Redlich, presented by Midwest Coast Collective as part of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The play transports audiences to a zany medieval world and follows a struggling Jester who strives to leave behind a life of peasantry in search of fulfillment and comedic fame. Employing a mix of contemporary and classical language, the story weaves together themes of wealth, power, lust, and creative ambition as the Jester navigates her relationship with her roommate and a budding romance with the local Barkeep, while the Royals at the Castle deal with scandals of their own. Sydney Michael Hollingsworth stars in and produces the play alongside fellow producer and actor Bailey Barton.
