Banana Man LIVE is a new solo work written and performed by nonbinary actor and content creator Ari Fromm, directed by Natalie Nicole Dressel. The play is part of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival and runs 60 minutes. Set in a world of anthropomorphic fruit characters, the story follows Banana, who believes religiously in a fruit binary, as it ventures into the world and has its expectations shattered. While never explicitly mentioning gender, the play satirizes expectations around the gender binary.
