Sex, drugs and booze make up the life of Brad Burke while ex-seminary student Gary Henderson is so closeted that he hides behind an invented wife. When they hook up at their 10-year high school reunion it’s a monumental clash of worlds and the very air between them vibrates with ELECTRICITY. This explosive connection lures them back to the same motel room every 10-years for the next 30 years.
ELECTRICITY follows Gary and Brad’s funny yet rocky journey through the immense changes that happen to them and to the LGBTQ community between 1983 and 2013. It navigates from a world where gay life was hidden in bars and sex clubs to one where equality might just be a reality -- if only Gary and Brad can believe they deserve it.
