Set in a fictionalized 1990s Belfast, the story follows Fiadh and Nicola—two women from opposite sides of a cultural divide—as they struggle toward self-definition, acceptance, and reconciliation. Their personal journeys unfold against a backdrop of political violence and fragile hope, mirroring the social reckonings of today. What began as a study in cross-cultural dialogue has become a meditation on healing—not through forgetting trauma, but by facing it with honesty and compassion.
