1518: The Dancing Plague at Electric Lodge, Kelman Theater

Dates: 7/11/2026 - 7/19/2026

1518: The Dancing Plague is a satirical comedy based on the real outbreak of mass hysteria that led to uncontrollable dancing in medieval Europe. As the city of Strasbourg descends into chaos, two peasants, Katherine and Anna, rekindle their long-fractured romance while authorities and clergy scramble to contain the mysterious outbreak. The chaos of the plague, both absurd and dire, reveals parallels to the crises of the modern age. The production performs as part of the Daredevil Arts Festival before its debut at Edinburgh Fringe later in the summer.
