(04/03/2015) - On Friday, April 3, The Venetian Las Vegas began the annual process of selecting gondoliers to be a part of the resort's celebrated Grand Canal Gondola guest experience. Out of 100 applications, 12 made the cut to advance to the certification Jump Test at the Outdoor Grand Canal, testing their ability to swim. At the conclusion of his speech, the company was presented with a commemorative '80s-themed cake, replicating the show's set and featuring members of the cast designed by Carlo's Bakery, made famous by TLC's Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.

(10/02/2014) - Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip turned the building pink today in honor of breast cancer awareness by hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring PLAYBOY's 2011 Playmate of the Year and star of PIN UP at Stratosphere, Claire Sinclair. While at the cafe, Claire unleashed her inner artist by decorating a commemorative pink guitar, an activity that many of the bands scheduled to perform at Hard Rock Live will take part in as well. Proceeds from the auctioned guitars will benefit American Cancer Society, an organization that invests in breast cancer research to find, prevent, treat and cure the disease as well as providing free information and services to people fighting the disease and helping women get potentially lifesaving breast cancer screening tests. The evening was a star-studded affair as 'Fantastic Four' star Miles Teller was spotted celebrating the holiday weekend in true Vegas fashion at the hot spot. Joined by a number of close friends including Chace Crawford and Jessica Szhor of 'Gossip Girl,' 'Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev and 'Glee's' Jenna Ushkowitz, the group took in the sights of the destination while partying the night away at a VIP booth located on the fourth level of the nightlife mecca.
