The Outsiders, the four-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical, comes to The Kentucky Center in Louisville for a limited engagement August 18-23. Based on S.E. Hinton's novel and Francis Ford Coppola's film, the story follows Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and their Greaser family as they navigate self-discovery and conflict with their rivals, the Socs, in 1967 Tulsa, Oklahoma. The production features a book by Adam Rapp and Justin Levine, music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance) and Justin Levine, choreography by Rick Kuperman & Jeff Kuperman, and direction by Danya Taymor.
