SPEAKEASY, A New Musical takes place in 1928 at the height of the prohibition era in a Chicago speakeasy called The Reading Room - the best gin joint in town. Ragan Richardson portrays Lucie - one of the Reading Room singers and Kiefer Slaton portrays Jake - a bootlegger and gangster.
