Bret Graham, an Americana, blues, and gospel singer-songwriter, migrated from Stroud, Oklahoma, to Canyon Lake in 1990 & has been performing & writing his music for the last 30 years. Bret was recently featured on KNBT's Roots & Branches of Americana with Ray Wylie Hubbard. His songs weave stories of life inside the dance hall and out, including "Honkin' Out Some Hank," an ode to classic country music, and "She Caught Me Not Fishing," a hilarious tale about the lengths men will go to get out of the house. Bret is the regular MC at Gruene Hall. His songs "He Found Me" and "A Simple Life" can be downloaded from Spotify or Apple Music. Though never captured on tape, his version of "Me And Bobby McGee" must be heard to be believed.
