Mr. Burns propels us forward and imagines a future where Bart Simpson and the pop culture references of one era evolve into the mythology of another.Tucker Lucas, production director, said, Mr. Burns is a show about a community living in a post-apocalyptic world where there is no more electricity and so to entertain each other the community members stage old episodes of The Simpsons as plays.Act 1 takes place in the year 2023Act 2 takes place in the year 2030Act 3 takes place in the year 2105There will be one 15-minute intermission between Acts 2 and 3.
