SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in THE LUCKIEST by Melissa Ross.
Chicago-local actors encouraged to submit.
Lissette: Mid 30-40. Vibrant, funny and unabashedly unafraid. Passionate about life. Loves with her whole heart. A fighter even at her most vulnerable. Takes up space in the world without apology.
Cheryl: 50-60. Lissette's mom. Born and raised in a blue collar suburb of Boston and hasn't ever lived anywhere else. Fiercely protective of her daughter. Opinionated and a little bit bossy. Loves hard - but keeps a good distance away from any and all sentimentality.
Peter: BIPOC. 30-40. Queer. An acerbic and dry wit. A caretaker - sometimes willingly - sometimes reluctantly. Has become too self reliant for his own good. Definitely not a risk taker. An adult orphan. Kind. Takes up very little space in the world
*Raven Theatre believes in the importance of authentic storytelling. Because of this, we want to encourage queer actors to submit for the role of PETER.
