Breakdown
; FORUM -
CRAZY HORSE & CUSTER
World Premiere by Jon George
1st rehearsal 10/15/13 closing 12/15/13
Seeking:
Crazy Horse
Male, mid 30's, physically middle-sized, lean but fit. Dark hair. Needs to have an AmerIndian cast to face, but may be something else ethnically - solemn and dignified. Not brooding, but with a quality that suggests there is no humor left in his view of the world. Speaks precisely and with deliberation. Display animation when voicing other characters, but as himself is deliberate and quiet-spoken. He shows that he carries the weight not only of the fate of his people but of his lifelong separateness from them.
A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM
1st rehearsal 4/1/14 closing 5/18/14
Seeking:
Pseudlous
Male, 30-45 yrs old, a Roman slave who seeks to win his freedom. Quick-witted, scheming, childlike spirit. Excellent comic timing. Range: A3-A5
Miles Gloriosus - Male, 25-35 yrs old, archetype of the braggart soldier, a captain in the Roman army. Commanding, boastful, manly, well built and strong. Range: B3-F5
