SEEKING

Equity actors for chorus dancers playing female roles in MRS. DOUBTFIRE (tour).

[WOMEN OF SAN FRANCISCO] Performers of all genders to appear in the ensemble playing various female roles, 20s—50s, any ethnicity. Strong pop singers with a wide range. Strong dance ability. Tumbling is a plus. Dynamic and vivid personalities. Comic chops. Possible principal understudy assignments.

PREPARATION

Be prepared to dance. Bring jazz shoes or character shoes. In case you are called back to sing, please prepare 16 bars of a pop song or musical theatre pop song (i.e. “DEAR EVAN HANSEN,” “MEAN GIRLS,” or similar) showing range. Bring sheet music. A piano accompanist will be provided. Bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.
