Using their legendary music, two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff brings to life the exciting early days of rock-and-roll, and the price of fame for four guys who had nothing – and everything – to lose.

A NOTE REGARDING SELF-TAPE QUALITY:
Please film your audition in front of a clean background, with no backlighting. As much as possible, limit ambient noise including air conditioners and other electronics. We recommend you do not use Bluetooth headphones, as it can sometimes cause a delay in the audio. Use a secondary audio source to play the accompaniment music so that it is audible in the tape.

SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:

FRANKIE: 20s-early 30s. 5’9” or shorter. Has a strong tenor with sweet and strong falsetto and is able to sing in the style of Frankie Valli. Strong tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G. Charismatic and charming. Comfortable with narrative text and has a gritty side as well as a polished veneer. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. Leading role.

BOB: 20s-early 30s. Preferably tall. Strong tenor/baritenor voice, has a strong high G. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. Also comfortable with narrative text. An intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy. Leading role.

TOMMY: 20s-30s. Strong tenor/baritenor voice. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. Also comfortable with narrative text. A natural-born leader with an appealing, bad-boy quality. Leading role.

NICK: 20s-30s. Strong bass/baritone voice, low E would be an asset. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. Also comfortable with narrative text. A quiet dreamer who longs for life after The Four Seasons. Leading role.
