September 15, 2017 - OCtober 14, 2017
Christopher 15 years old - looking for a young 20's actor; Christopher has Asperger Syndrom or highly functing Autism; math genius; emotional/social issues strongly evident but must be appealing progtagonist. Ed Boone - the father; has been single parent for 2 years. Judy Boone - the mother; Christopher believes she died 2 years before the events of the play. Siobahn - teacher's aide/paraprofessional at school who helps Christopher with how the world works. Actor #1 - Mrs. Shears (and others); Actor #2 Roger Shears (and others); Actor #3 Policeman (and others); Actor #4 Rev. Peters, et al; Actor #5 No. 40 et al; Actor #6 Mrs. Alexander et al. ** Various Brit accents required **

Cat - female 20's African American; flaming liberal, Harvard Law student and clerk for Justice Scalia; funny, articulate, whip smart. A good foil for the Justice. Brad: 20's brought in to work on a specific case, he resents Cat's Clerkship; very buttoned-up Conservative.

Helen - in her 70's vibrant, a bit arch, charming, Sylvie - early 20's Helen's granddaughter, early 20's, working on life; Charles (Aunt Chuck) - 50's gay, a bit of a pill yet funny; Marco - mid 20's Italian, a tour guider in Venice who doesn't know much about Venice - takes on Helen, Sylvie and Aunt Chuck as clients. 3 Venitian Street Musicians: a young woman; 2 men (older/younger) - also play various characters, good with accents (Italian, Australian, Phillipino, German…); one needs to play the violin.

Dotty - late middle aged actress plays Mrs. Clackett; Lloyd Dallas - the director of the play within in the play; Garry LeJune - stuttering actor plays Roger; Brooke Ashton - young inexperienced plays Vicki; Poppy - assistant stage manager for the play; Frederick Fellowes - serious fear of blood and violence plays Phillip; Belinda Blair - cheerful sensioble actress plays Flavia; Tim Allgood - overworked stage manager; Selsdon Mowbray - elderly..very actorly plays a burgler.
