TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA

All characters may be played by actors of any race/ethnicity. All roles require singing; ability to play a musical instrument is a plus. All will also double with other characters (TBD).

SEEKING

• Valentine (he/him), 20s — A young man sworn against love, until it finds him. Best friend of Proteus.
• Proteus (he/him), 20s — A young man who is obsessed with love to the point of ignoring everything else. Falls quickly and hard. Best friend of Valentine.
• Silvia (she/her), 20s — A wealthy and confident young woman, object of Proteus's and Valentine's affection.
• Julia (she/her), 20s — Former love of Proteus who is foresworn. Disguises herself as a boy to serve him.
• Speed — Any age or gender. Valentine’s very funny servant.
• Launce / the Duke — Any gender, 40s/50s. Proteus’ very funny servant and a dog lover. Will double with the Duke of Milan, Silvia’s strict parent.
