PLEASE NOTE: This play is currently in development and this list does not include all characters. Several roles will double.

WOMAN: F, 30s-40s, Black, Writer, Currently working on being a reformed serial career-seeker. She struggles with her new decision to move to and become a full-time writer in New Orleans. She can't find her rhythm.

ELDER: F, 60s, Black, WOMAN'S Spirit Guide, Frustrated with WOMAN'S inability to commit to her true calling of her being a writer. Aware of WOMAN'S dilemma, she intervenes.

BAYUK: F, Teens, Black, Spirit Guide sent by ELDER to WOMAN to assist and lead her on a journey to find her rhythm.

MS. BONURA: F, 50s, White, Teacher/Counselor and everyone's Second Mom at St. Rose de Lima School.

CELESTE MARIGNY: F, 40s, Black/Creole, Founding Member of St. Rose de Lima Parish

SYLVANIE BLANC: F, 20s, White, French, Founding Member of St. Rose de Lima Parish

FELICIE CAILLOUX: F, 30s, Black, Educator and Wife of Captain Andre Cailloux

ANDRE CAILLOUX: M, 30s, Black, Captain and Civil War Hero

MAMA J: F, 60s, Black, Spirit Guide

LOUIS CHARLES ROUNDANEZ: M, 50s, Black, Creole, Founder of L'Union (1st African-American Newspaper in the Country).

NATIVE AMERICAN/INDIGENOUS SPIRIT GUIDE: F/M, 20s-40s, Native American/Indigenous/First Nations, Lived here first and carved the trail

THEODORE PICOU: M, 30s-40s, White, Owner of Picou's Bakery
