PLEASE NOTE: Except for role of Scrooge, all actors double as other characters.

* EBENEZER SCROOGE: 40-60's: Grounded character, not over the top. Mean spirited, angry, wry wit, also capable of vulnerability, humor and joy. No singing required.

* MR FEZZIWIG/GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT: 30 - 50s Mr. Fezziwig: Full of life and good cheer, great energy, comical Ghost of Present: Formidable, jovial spirit with judgmental core

* JACOB MARLEY/TOPPER: to play 30 -40s

Marley: Commanding, frightening with a sarcastic edge

Topper: Carefree, keen wit

* YOUNG SCROOGE/FRED: 20s

Young Scrooge: Vulnerable, awkward, transitions to rooted anger

Fred: Scrooge's energetic, optimistic nephew. Real zest for life.

* CHARITY MAN/OLD JOE: 35-50s

Charity: Professional, joyful

Old Joe: Seedy, rough

* PETER CRATCHIT/DICK WILKINS: Adult actor to play teens – 20’s

Peter: mischievous

Dick: warm, good friend to Scrooge

Mrs. Fezziwig: Energetic, fun, loves to laugh

Cleaning Lady: overly dramatic, great comic timing

* CHARITY WOMAN/LAUNDRESS Charity: Proper, kind, quirky

Laundress: Low class, cockney, comical
