About the Theatre

Whittier Community Theatre has been in operation since 1922, making it one of the oldest non-profit amateur theatres west of the Mississippi. In 1960, the City of Whittier opened the Center Theatre, which is now the home stage of WCT. Whittier Community Theatre presents a four-show season in the attractive, refurbished 396-seat Center Theatre and strives to provide its audiences with quality theatrical productions for nominal prices.
