The 39 Steps at Whittier Community Theatre

A wild, fast-paced adaption of a serious spy caper from the 1930s, this modern update is played strictly for laughs. A seemingly inexhaustible cast of four actors play all the parts as the hero and his female partner race across the English countryside by train, plane and automobile to catch a spy before he escapes Britain. Step in and try to keep up! Be sure to look for all the Alfred Hitchcock “Easter eggs”!
