Noel Coward’s gentle drama about The Wings, a retirement home for aging actresses that have fallen on hard times. Faded ‘”stars” pass the days with nostalgia and board games until a new resident arrives, stirring up old rivalries. Often touching, sometimes inspiring, and always entertaining, it reminds us that, as Bette Davis said, “Growing old ain’t for sissies!”

About the Theatre
Whittier Community Theatre has been in operation since 1922, making it one of the oldest non-profit amateur theatres west of the Mississippi. In 1960, the City of Whittier opened the Center Theatre, which is now the home stage of WCT. Whittier Community Theatre presents a four-show season in the attractive, refurbished 396-seat Center Theatre and strives to provide its audiences with quality theatrical productions for nominal prices.
