The Huu Bac Quintet invites audiences on a cinematic journey where Eastern ancestral roots seamlessly intertwine with the improvisational spirit of North American jazz. Led by Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist Huu Bac Quach, the ensemble features an extraordinary dialogue between rare instruments — the haunting Vietnamese àn bu, the expressive Chinese erhu and the Andean quena — all backed by a powerhouse jazz rhythm section.
