Lakewood Cultural Center hosts award-winning pianist

Appearing solo and in orchestral concerts across five continents, Pallavi Mahidhara is praised for her distinctive artistry and charismatic presence. She will perform during the Lakewood Cultural Center Presents season on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Season and single tickets for the 2026–27 Lakewood Cultural Center Presents series are now on sale, offering standout arts and entertainment in the heart of Lakewood.

Mahidhara, an Indian American classical pianist and secondprize and Young Audience Award winner at the 69th Geneva International Piano Competition, will present a program of vivid musical landscapes featuring works by Ravel, Mussorgsky, and contemporary composers Rena Esmail and Veronique Vaka. Her performance offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of musical voices connected through her distinctive interpretive style.

“Each time I sit down to play, it feels as though I am discovering a new friend full of nuances, colors, character and soul,” Mahidhara said.
