Colorado Ballet opens its 2013-2014 season with the classical ballet Giselle October 4-13, 2013 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Giselle is a romantic ballet about a peasant girl who falls for a prince and then dies broken-hearted. Her hauntingly beautiful afterlife demonstrates how love can sometimes be even more powerful than death. This tragic tale of unrequited love, heartbreak and forgiveness is set to live music by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra.

Colorado Ballet Announces Plans For Its 2021/2022 Season
February 12, 2021 Today, Colorado Ballet's Artistic Director Gil Boggs announced plans for returning to live, in-person performances at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House for the 2021/2022 season, which will include Giselle, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, The Wizard of Oz and Ballet MasterWorks.

Colorado Ballet Announces Cancellations And Updates To Its 60th Anniversary Season
July 29, 2020 Colorado Ballet announced today the cancellation of two productions in its 60th Anniversary Season, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. All 2020 performances of Colorado Ballet's beloved production of The Nutcracker are canceled, along with the 2021 production of Ballet MasterWorks. Giselle, originally slated to take place in October, will replace Ballet MasterWorks, moving all performances out of 2020.
