Steps on Broadway is an open-class dance center at 2121 Broadway at 74th Street on New York's Upper West Side, marking 45 years of operation and co-founded by Carol Paumgarten and Patrice Soriero, with Joe Lanteri as executive director and Diane Grumet as artistic director. It runs daily professional and adult classes across every level, alongside master classes, its Spotlight Series with working Broadway and commercial choreographers, and workshop series including Ultimate Introductory Adult Workshops, Basic Adult Workshops and Professional Performance Workshops. Professional Training Programs comprise the Steps Conservatory, Summer Study NYC and the 3-, 6- and 12-month Independent Artist Program, with housing available. The separate Steps on Broadway Academy trains students aged 2 to 18. Classes can be taken in-studio or via livestream, and the studio also rents space and hosts group visits.
