Dance classes in Culver City, California
Invertigo Dance Theatre is a Los Angeles contemporary dance theatre company based in Culver City and founded in 2007 by artistic director Laura Karlin. It combines what it calls wild-bodied dance with vibrant storytelling to build community, connection and social change across Los Angeles and beyond, and its narrative-driven works, such as Formulae & Fairy Tales, have been noted by the LA Times and LA Weekly for their humour and characterisation. The company performs locally, tours and is available for booking. Alongside its repertory it runs a social impact program, the centrepiece of which is Dancing Through Parkinson's, a community dance class open to people living with Parkinson's disease and their companions.
