About this studio
The Dance Scene has operated at 25333 Van Dyke Avenue in Center Line, Michigan since 1976 and is now led by longtime instructor Anna Sobiechart. It is a ballroom and Latin dance school serving adults and social dancers of all ages and skill levels, built around private lessons tailored to each student's goals and pace, group classes, and regular social dance parties. Styles taught include ballroom, Latin, swing and hustle, with an introductory six-week Intro to Ballroom & Latin Dancing course for newcomers. Wedding packages provide custom choreography for a couple's first dance, and there are new-student introductory specials, dance party cards, multi-class group packages and gift cards. The studio also runs a Motown Grooves program and organizes social events through Meetup.
